Don’t forget to relax with a cuppa this Christmas

Lounging around drinking tea

How drinking tea should look... bet hers is still warm!

It all gets so crazy at this time of year – presents to buy, presents to wrap, last minute cards to write, the kids to entertain. There really isn’t anything as reviving as a hot cup of tea and a sit-down after a marathon shopping trip down the high street.

Trying to drink it while it’s still hot is my main issue – but if you can just get the kids set up with a dvd an educational activity for long enough to enjoy your brew you’ll feel so much better for it.

Christmas Tea

If you’re still looking for present ideas, then giving Christmas tea gifts can be a total winner.

You can find this classy Mulled spiced tea caddy and other fab pressie ideas when you buy at the Twinings tea shop. It’s worth checking them out for some inspiration.

If you want a good cake recipe to go with your steaming cuppa then check out these banana blondies I made in October – utterly delicious…

Or maybe one of my all-time faves – Intense oreo chocolate loaf cake.

Go on – you’ve got the whole of January to be good!
